Studentenwerk Dresden

The Vokalwerk is a mixed a cappella pop choir from Dresden. In addition to our focus on predominantly modern pieces, we also occasionally look outside the box and feel equally at home in other styles (e.g. jazz or classical). We have been singing together since 2016 and currently consist of about 20 members aged between 20 and 55, including many students or graduates.

The musical direction of the choir is Cornelia Drese. As a professional musician and singing teacher, she always fights with us through the mostly 4 to 6-part pieces in the best of moods.

Interested in singing with us?

Interested parties can visit us at 2-3 rehearsals without obligation and get to know us. Afterwards there will be a small audition. Choir experience and knowledge of music are desirable, but not a prerequisite.

We also welcome requests to perform at birthdays, weddings and other public or private events.
