DIE BÜHNE is the theater of TU Dresden. Traditionally, its focus is in professional theater work with students from all faculties. Drama, performance, readings, concerts – the repertoire of DIE BÜHNE is varied and open for its members desire for experimentation.DIE BÜHNE is a learning-by-doing theater, a theater workshop with professional production conditions and free spaces. Not only a recreational group, DIE BÜHNE offers you the opportunity to apply knowledge from your studies in a practical and independent way and also gain topical and personal experience beyond the borders of your faculty. This may be in drama or media courses, improvisational theater, working on the lighting/sound crew, as director’s assistant, dramatic adviser, playwright, actor, performer ... And helping out with organizational tasks.DIE BÜHNE is one of the oldest and currently largest student theaters in Germany with more than sixty years of history. Together with professional theater artists, each season the ensemble puts on four to five productions, which are complemented by smaller projects co-led by students and professionals. Productions are staged at the Weberbau studio stage, Teplitzer Str. 26.

Rehearsals For information, to join or to answer questions you are welcome to come to "stage Tuesdays", always on Tuesdays from 18.30 clock with us in the office under the stage or the Gastro in front of the Klemperersaal. Performance modalities

DIE BÜHNE performs primarily in its own theater, but also makes guest appearances and presents guest performances and concerts. In addition, DIE BÜHNE offers a dramaturgy course, performance course, various acting courses and improvisational theater every semester.
